Alice Moffat

Alice M. (VanHouten) Moffat died peacefully June 13, 2013.
Alice was born 100 years ago on March 5, 1913 in Kimberly, ID to Sarah (Terry) and Miles Van Houten. She was a college graduate and an excellent bookkeeper, working well into her 70's. Riding her bike, sewing her clothes, decorating, card making and poetry were some of her passions. Alice was hired as a receptionist by Davis Memorial Chapel while in her 60's. She soon became a dear, close friend of the Davis Family. Lovingly referred to as Gramma Alice by close friends and family.
She is survived by a son Gary Moffat, daughter-in-law Diana Moffat and a granddaughter Erin Moffat, all of Washington.
We wish to thank the staff at Valley Convalescent Hospital , especially Sally Robin for the loving and sensitive care given to Alice for the last 10 years of her long life. Thank you , Barbara and Norman Davis.
At her request there will be no service. Private cremation has been entrusted to the care of Ave Maria Memorial Chapel by Patrick and Debra Molina Carroll.
