Passed away at home surrounded by his loving family August 28, 2013
He was born September 7, 1941 in Navidad, Jalisco, MX
He was a very hard working man as a farmer. Very Proud of his labor. During his seasonal work he was very fortunate to travel along California through Arizona. To provide the support and well-being of his wife and eight kids. He was a man of strong ideals and was well respected. He had the honor to know and to work with Cesar Chavez during the formation of the United Farm Workers Union.
A very happy and friendly man who loved his family. He was very passionate about Mariachi Music which he enjoyed with his family and friends. All his family and friends will remember his traditional "Birria" and his competitive spirit in dominoes.
Survivors include his wife Maria Anita Quintero, children Jesus Armando Quintero, Enrique Quintero, Lucia Olivarez, Leticia Quintero, Jose Manuel Quintero, Anamaria Quintero, Rosalia Quintero and Maria Eugenia Quintero, 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild siblings Elodia Salazar, Inez Pena, Manuel Quintero, Jesus Quintero, Maria Adame and Rafael Quintero
Rosary services will be Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville with a Mass of Catholic Burial to follow on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Assumption Church. Interment will be at Valley Public Cemetery, Watsonville.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the care of Patrick and Debra Molina Carroll.
