Angel Montes II

On July 22, 2018 Angel Joel Montes II unexpectedly passed away in Miami Florida. He was 18.

Angel graduated from Miami Beach Senior High, June 6, 2018. He played football and had a passion for basketball. Angel was an avid Raider’s fan, had an fascination with cars and loved to travel from coast to coast and see different sunsets and ocean views.

Angel is survived by his parents; Angel Montes Sr., and Patricia Morales and sister, Kianna Brielle Montes. He is also survived by his grandparents; Irene Morales, Joel Morales Sr., Evalina Montes, John Montes and great grandparents; Eva Perez, Linda Bravo and Amanda Lara.

He was preceded in death by his Great Grand Fathers; Gabriel Perez, Juan Morales and Lorenzo Gutierrez.

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Our Lady of Refuge at 5:30 PM in Castroville and the visitation will follow at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel from 6:30-10 PM. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Refuge in Castroville with burial to follow at Castroville Cemetery.
