Arlene Marie Borrego

Arlene Marie Borrego peacefully passed away on Thursday August 15, 2024. She was 83.

Arlene was born on December 24, 1940, to her parents Nellie Campero and John Lievanos.

Arlene loved shopping and coupon cutting, her all time celebrity crush was Elvis Presley she was in love with him. She enjoyed visiting and entertaining her family and friends, she always made sure you were never hungry or thirsty, she would put others before herself. In her free time Arlene enjoyed going to the senior center and going on gambling trips, she also enjoyed line dancing. She worked at Fords department store for some time and later went on to work as a bookkeeper for the family’s agricultural business. She was a native resident of Watsonville, CA.

Arlene is survived by her children Richard (Rick), Crystal and Kevin, her siblings Christine, David and Gilbert (Tony) Lievanos. Her grandchildren Andre, Nashua, Little Rick Samantha, and Dominique. And her Ex-husband/ close friend and High School Sweetheart Richard Borrego.

A Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday August 21,2024 at 2:00PM at Holy Eucharist Catholic Community at 527 Corralitos Road, Watsonville, CA 95076.
