Aurelia Palomares-Teran passed away on February 17, 2023 at her home in Freedom California. She was born in La Mesa De Cereachi (La Sierra Madre), Chihuahua Mexico on June 16, 1926. Her parents were Antonia Teran-Madero and Alejo Palomares-Meraz. Aurelia was the second oldest of 6 siblings. She had 12 sons and daughters with Emilio Teran-Ramirez; Catalina, Candelario, Nonis, Emilio, Herminia, Elvira, Francisco, Alejo, Amalia, Sergio, Luz Delia & Luis Alonso. Aurelia had 43 grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren & 18 great-great grandchildren.
Aurelia spent her early years in Chihuahua where she assisted the military by providing shelter/meals. She also served as a midwife, as well as grew and traded crops. She lived in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora Mexico before settling in Watsonville California. In Watsonville, Aurelia worked as a daycare provider. She loved playing bingo in Watsonville, Santa Cruz & Salinas. She also loved casinos and singing. She also loved her dog, Lolita.
