Beatrice Mae Prado

Beatrice Mae Prado peacefully passed away on Friday July 19,2024. She was 90.

Beatrice was born in August 6,1933 in Glen Rose, Texas. The daughter of Johnnie Joe and Imogene Clifton. The family moved to California in 1945.

Beatrice was very active with her family; she was homeroom Mother for all five of her children while they attended Corralitos/Bradley school. She was an active member of Holy Eucharist Church, teaching catechism, attending Bible studies, folding bulletins, and going to the chapel for prayer service. She loved gardening Tai Chi, and camping trips with her family and friends. Family time was her greatest joy, teaching her grandchildren to make tortillas, tamales and salsa.

Beatrice was truly the matriarch of the Prado Family.

Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband Tony Prado and her Brother Bill Clifton.

She is survived by her five children Clarence (Sheila Rossi), Cricket (Steve) Honeywell, Bea (Dave) Morris, Teresa (Jon) Scofield, and Julie (Pat) Simmons, her seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, her brother Lewis (Emily) Clifton, and her sister Katie Kelley.
