Betty Fort

November 25, 1939 — May 13, 2019

Betty Fort passed away on May 13, 2019 at Watsonville Community Hospital at the age of 79. She was a long time Watsonville resident.

Betty loved to work in her garden and to paint. Until recently she enjoyed golfing with her friends and was a part of the HUB Club where she would go on camping trips. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Fi and enjoyed outings with her sorority sisters. Betty loved most of all spending time with her great grandchildren, She will be remembered as a hard worker with a great sense of humor. Her no nonsense attitude and love for her family will always by remembered. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. We love you Grammy!

She is survived by her children Claudia R. Frederiksen and Donald R. Fort; her mother, Vada Kay Scott her brother Larry Christian; and her grandchildren Stephanie Mabie, Heather and Kyle Fort.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert T. Fort; her father Andrew (Jack) Christian, her granddaughter Alisa Frederiksen.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Betty on June 9th, 2019 at the Corralitos Community Center, 11 AM - 2PM. All who knew her are welcome.

Donations can be sent to the American Lung Association.
