On Wednesday, April 15, 2020 Bonifacio Gomez peacefully passed away. He was 89.
Born on May 25, 1930, Bonifacio was a native resident of Mexico. Bonifacio was a loving, funny, outrageous, and charismatic man who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed driving his Red Ford Escort, a prized possession he was quite protective of.
Bonifacio is preceded in death by his parents Ramon Gomez Rivera and Maria del Refugio Diaz; his son, Pedro Gomez; his grandson, Emanuel; and five of his siblings, Edelmira, Edilia, Josefa, Maximiliano, and Enrique.
Bonifacio is survived by many family members. He is survived by his dear wife Maria Guadalupe Ochoa; eleven of his children, Antonio, Maria, Everardo, Bonifacio Jr., Socorro, Eloisa, Eva, Lupe, Aurelia, Elena, and Fidel; and 29 of his grandchildren, Everardo Jr., Jesus, Heidi, Esmeralda, Lupita, Adrian, Marivel, Tomas, Olga, Edgar, Dora, Griselda, Jesus, Daniel, Ken, Marco, Itzie, Natalie, Daisy, Frank, Steve, Kayla, Kimberly, Michael, David Jr., Chayito, Angela, Briana, and Angelina. He is also survived by 3 of his siblings, Isaias, Jenoveva, and Edubijes; along with numerous cousins, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and friends.
Bonifacio was such an inspiration to his family; he taught this family what it meant to be hardworking and how hard work can help you reach your dreams. He lit up the room with his presence. His family will all miss him dearly.
Our family would also like to extend our gratitude to Valley Convalescent Hospital for their compassion and care!
