Conrado Benavidez

Conrado Benavidez peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday June 8, 2024. He was 79.

Conrado was born on October 3, 1944, in Brownsville, Texas. To his parents Marco and Maria Benavidez where he grew up with his 13 brothers and sisters.

Conrado was a long-time resident of Watsonville. He enjoyed taking his daily walks through the streets of Downtown Watsonville and Freedom, He enjoyed visiting with his friend, shopping at the local thrift stores and flea markets. Conrado was always willing to lend a hand to those in need whether it was with a cup of coffee, a few dollars or just talking and making you smile. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and love him.

Conrado is Survived by his beloved wife Victoria Benavidez of Watsonville, CA, his children Samuel (Lydia) Benavidez of Hollister and Angelina (Jose) Ramos of Castroville, CA, and his grandchildren Alyssa (Anand) Benavidez-Purohit and Joseph Benavidez of Hollister, Vanessa (Adrian) Leal, Angel Ramos and Adrian (Jasmine) Ramos all of Castroville, and Great Grandchildren Adrian, Jayla Rose and Julius Leal of Castroville and Audra Leia Ramos of Castroville.

Conrado was preceded in death by his mother and father and siblings and his grandson Jose Antonio Ramos of Castroville.

The Family has chosen to do a Celebration of life per Conrados wishes the date is to be determined.
