Daisy Thompson

Daisy Thompson passed away peacefully at 4:55am on Feb 6, 2014 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Donald Thompson and her son, John Thompson. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Don, Dave, Jerry, Mark, Mary and Jamie Thompson as well as by their spouses, children and grandchildren.
Daisy was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and for the last years of her life received loving care from Montecito Residential Care Facility in Watsonville and, more recently, from Santa Cruz Hospice.
In earlier years, Daisy had been a labor and delivery nurse at Los Gatos Community Hospital, was active in her church, both with St. Joseph's of Cupertino and later in Corralitos at Holy Eucharist Church. She enjoyed many outdoor activities including hiking, biking, backpacking, and cross country skiing. Her enthusiasm for life will long be remembered by her family and many friends.
A memorial Mass will be held at Holy Eucharist Church at 527 Corralitos Road in Corralitos at 11am on Saturday, March 1. Remembrances and reception to follow at the Grange Hall at 165 Little Corral Way, Corralitos.
