Dennis Lynn Smith

DENNIS “DENNY” LYNN SMITH

Dennis Lynn Smith was born and raised by parents Lester and Bernice Smith, in Pennsylvania.  Dennis met the love of his life Norma Jean Sulecki on Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania while driving his boat he designed and built.  Dennis and his bride moved to California. 

In San Jose he worked as a Design Engineer at Westinghouse, Memorex, and later started his own business, CBS Technology.  Dennis was an avid reader.  He was a gifted artist and self-taught golfer (Hole in One), Pool Shark, Master Chess Champion and Cabinet maker.  He loved the beach, nature, baseball, jazz music, traveling (especially to Paris) and Porsches.

Dennis and Norma lived and enjoyed their later years at their beach house in La Selva Beach.  He was positive, generous and well loved by all who knew him.  Dennis taught all of his children a good work ethic and how to enjoy life and have fun.  He enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren.

His family continues his legacy of adventure: Daughter Sharon Vitek, sons David (Cheryl), Daniel (Patty), Douglas, and grandchildren Shaun and Kimberly Vitek, Taylor and Sarah Smith, Chelsea, Dalton and Dakota Smith, and Hannah Smith.
