Diego Agustin Medina Jr.

February 6, 2002 — July 10, 2024

Aromas, CA

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Diego Agustin Medina Jr., who passed at only 22 years young. A resident of Aromas, Diego was born on February 6, 2002, in Watsonville, CA and was taken from us on July 10, 2024, in San Francisco, CA.

Diego was known for being charismatic, polite, and having a great sense of humor. Diego was a young entrepreneur, running a successful E-commerce business. He also worked at FedEx in Watsonville. He had an unwavering drive to conquer all that life had to offer and tackled a diverse range of goals. From globetrotting to thriving as a model to pushing his limits with extreme sports, he relentlessly pursued mastery in everything he did. Diego was truly setting himself up for big things, which unfortunately he did not get to realize. We are grateful that he got to enjoy the recent purchase of his dream car, a Jailbreak Hellcat.

Diego leaves his parents, Diego A. Medina Sr. and Esmeralda Castillo-Medina, his two sisters Alondra Medina and Maria Hernandez-Castillo, his dog Tiger, his grandparents, Maria Castillo (maternal) who was affectionately referred to as “Mama Mia” (he was a grandma’s boy), Sandra Fernandez (paternal), Bautista Castillo (maternal), great-grandmother Teresa Torres, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He also leaves many friends who were brothers to him: Carlitos Vukelich, Paul aka Punky, Diego Ramirez, Fernie owner of Cut Different, his buddies since: Bradley Elementary School (Ishy Diaz, Eddie Garcia and Skylar Nichols), Aptos Junior High (Ramiro M.) and Aptos High (Chris M. and Kaden), as well as his soccer brothers (Andy, Damon, Diego E., Diego C., Jairo and Moises, aka Moi), and his biker and extreme sport best friends (Kaden and Madzen), to name a very select few because Diego was a best friend to everyone.

He is predeceased by his grandfather Agustin Medina (paternal).

All our memories of Diego are special as the pictures and videos show. He was happy and lived life to the fullest. Long Live Diego. His legend will continue to be told.
