Dora Linda Davidson has officially left the building-but not without making sure we’ll never forget her. Born in Turlock California, she made her way through life with laughter, love and just the right amount of mischief. A proud 49ers fan, a free spirit, and a firm believer that Janis Joplin should always be played at full volume, she had a way of turning ordinary moments into something unforgettable.
She spent years as a CNA, caring for others with a big heart and a sharp wit that could brighten even the toughest days. She made people feel at home- whether through a warm hug, a shared laugh or a brutally honest reality check. If you knew her, you knew she loved deeply, laughed loudly, and never hesitated to speak her mind.
Now, instead of watching the 49ers stress us out from her couch, she’s got front row seats-right between Janis Joplin and Marilyn Monroe, drink in hand, probably charming them with her quick wit. She wouldn’t want us to sit around being sad-so let’s celebrate her the way she’d want: with good music, good company, and a toast to a life well-lived and loved.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel.
