Esther Gervasio

On August 16, 2022, Esther Gervasio passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was 87.

Esther was born on February 5, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah to her parents Ernesto Galvan and Juanita Garcia.

Esther was a strong-willed lady dedicated to her family. She enjoyed music, dancing and loved to spend time with her children. She loved to get dressed up on Sundays to go to church and watch 49ers football after. Esther was a resident of Watsonville.  

She is survived by her children, Julian Vasquez, Rosie Eills, Jessie Gervasio-Mouk, Peter Gervasio, Raul Torres, Elizabeth Gervasio-Soria, Annette Melendrez, , and 25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Juan Gervasio, her children, Christinia Vasquez, Ernie Vasquez and Jennie Gervasio, and her brothers, Frank Galvan and Joe Galvan.

A Church Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 7:00 PM at New Hope Community Church located at 7200 Freedom Blvd in Aptos. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel located at 609 Main St in Watsonville.
