Frank M. Enomoto died peacefully on March 20, 2013 at the age of 104. He was born in San Francisco, CA to Tatsutaro and Osuji Enomoto on February 1, 1909. He was the eldest of four children and attended schools in Watsonville. Frank, his mother and siblings were relocated to Poston AZ during World War II. After a few years the family relocated to Denver, CO. It was there that he met and later married Mary Nakagawa. Once returning to Watsonville he and his brother were partners in a retail shoe and repair business.
Frank was an avid fisherman catching perch and striped bass locally. He had a passion for visiting national parks across the western United States.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and brother, Willie. Frank is survived by his sisters Emma Kaino and Helen Matsumoto, his sons Martin (Sandy) Enomoto and Jerry Enomoto and his grandchildren James and Allison.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13 at 11:00 A.M. at Westview Presbyterian Church, 118 First Street, Watsonville. Services arranged by Patrick and Debra Molina Carroll of Ave Maria Memorial Chapel.
