Guillermo Banuelos

On March 3, 2014, Guillermo Banuelos passed away at his home at the age of 47. Mr. Banuelos was born in Colonia Francisco Madero, Apozol Zacatecas, Mexico on August 4th 1966. He was a resident of the Watsonville Community for over 15 years, and father to three beautiful children. Guillermo or "Memo" as his loved ones called him lived his life working long and hard days in order to achieve his version of the American dream. Like most parents that dream is to raise his children right and make sure they got any and everything in life they needed.

Memo was known to be a good soul amongst us all that got the pleasure to meet him. Although short lived his life was full of happiness, joy, but above all peace. Few men have been as out spoken as Memo was and even fewer are loved for doing so. Guillermo Banuelos was not just a man, he was a father, a husband, an uncle, god father, but most of all a great friend.
Visitation services will be on Sunday, March.9, 2014 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a citation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville. Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Assumption Church, 100 Salinas Rd, Royal Oaks, CA 95076.
