Harvey Thorpe

Harvey Thorpe passed away peacefully at home in Watsonville, Ca. on December 20, 2023. He was 79.

Harvey was born on September 12, 1944, in Watsonville, California to his parents Robert and Dorothy Thorpe.

Harvey was a hardworking man dedicated to his family. He graduated from Watsonville High School. He was a member of the Carpenters Union for over 30 years. He loved golfing with his buddies. He enjoyed camping and fishing on the Merced River. He was a resident of Watsonville.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Candi Thorpe, his children, David (Carrie) Thorpe and Tanya (Bill) Passey, His grandchildren, Andre (Justine) Hernandez, Jordan Thorpe, Emily Passey and Kyle Passey and great grandchildren, Hayden Hernandez and Hensley Hernandez.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Eucharist Church in Corralitos on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM followed by a gathering at the Corralitos Padre Hall.

Donations can be made to Hospice of Santa Cruz County or Santa Cruz SPCA.
