James Butler

On Tuesday, April 14, 2015 James "Jim" L. Butler peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his family. He was 79.

James was born on May 1, 1935 in Oklahoma to his proud parents George and Iva Nina Butler.

James was a man of many wonderful traits. He was a long-time truck driver and loved the 4th of July with his family and friends. James also always enjoyed a good game of horseshoes.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margie Butler.
James is survived by his girls; Cheryl, Lynn, Arleen, Brenda, Katie and their husbands. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings Stella, Amos, Letha, Dean, Rick and his 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren with 1 great-great grandchild to join the family in June.

Visitation services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Nazarene with a burial to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
