James McPhail

On December 15, 2019, James “Jim” McPhail peacefully passed away surrounded by love.

Jim, while being a native resident of Massachusetts, spent the last 42 years living in Aptos.   He loved restoring classic cars, traveling, and the lakes of New Hampshire.  He was an avid supporter of environmental causes.  Jim's family described him as “a unique character.”

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James D. McPhail and Isabelle C. (Kenney) Mc Phail.

He is survived by the love of his life, Flavia Ordonez, and his brother and sister; John McPhail and Shayne Reardon, both residents of Jim's home state of Massachusetts.

A memorial service for Jim's family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 28th 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel.
