Jimmy Ray Adams of Watsonville, California passed away on October 7, 2013, at 79 years of age. Jimmy was born January 18, 1934, to Clarence R. and Lou Adams in Bruno, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jody.
Jimmy is survived by a sister, Lucy Dell Pyle of Bruno, Arkansas; a nephew Billy Pyle of Bruno; a niece, Linda (David) Carpenter of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; four great-nephews and nieces, Jon (Laura) Pyle of Bruno, Lesley (Keith) Edmonds of Bruno, Sara Pyle of Conway, Arkansas, and William Carpenter of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one great-great-nephew and three great-great-nieces; Evyn Edmonds, Allie Edmonds, Erica Pyle, and Bridget Pyle all of Bruno. Uncle Jimmy loved his family well.
At the time of his passing, Jimmy was minister of the Church of Christ in Watsonville, California. During his lifetime Jimmy was an evangelist and a successful businessman. An avid sportsman, his favorite pastime was fishing. He spent countless hours fishing ponds, rivers, lakes, and in recent years the Pacific Ocean.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Watsonville Community Hospital for the care, kindness, and compassion they gave Jimmy during his last days.
Private interment will be at the Bruno Cemetery in Bruno, Arkansas.
