Joel Sandoval Palacios

Joel Sandoval Palacios passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 57.

Joel was born in Teutlan, Jalisco, Mexico on January 12, 1968, to his parents Bacilio Sandoval and Guadalupe Palacios. Joel was a native of Watsonville where he was a member of St. Patrick’s church choir. He enjoyed singing, camping, barbecuing, watching soccer for The Chivas, playing cards, watching movies, talking about philosophy and having reunions with friends.

He is survived by his children Israel, Daniel and Alonso. His siblings: Ramon, Jovita, Maria Elena, Senorina, Jose, Olivia, Manuel, Rangel, Humberto and Ana Elida.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 pm at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Church. A burial will be afterwards at Valley Public Cemetery.
