Jose Caballero Lazo

On January 8, 2024, Jose Caballero Lazo passed peacefully at home in Watsonville, California. He was 90.

Jose was born on March 6, 1933, to his parents Eulalio Caballero Serna and Felipa Lazo Sanchez.

Jose was a man of many wonderful traits. He enjoyed collecting tools, he loved to invent things for himself. In his personal time he loved recording himself sing on his mini cassette recorders and play his songs back to himself. Jose was a resident of Watsonville.

Jose is survived by his children, Elma, Diana, Fernando, Jose Jr and Enrique, sister Gregoria, and 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Jesus and other siblings, Manuel, Julian, Juan and Salome.

  A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Valley Public Cemetery.
