On Friday, April 22, 2016, Jose Yerena Guzman peacefully passed away surrounded by his family in Mexico. He was 80
Jose was born on September 18, 1935 in San Juan Cosala, Jalisco to his proud parents; Francisca and Pedro Guzman.
Jose was a caring, loving and loyal man. His life was devoted to his family and their happiness. Jose took great joy of taking care of his plants and was a farmer for over 40 years. He loved visiting his home town in Mexico and cherished spending time with his grandchildren, who mean the world to him. To a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend you will be forever missed and never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Francisca and Pedro Guzman and his siblings; Ismael, Irene, Carmen, Fabian, Pedro, Ernestina and Rosario Guzman.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife, Faustina Guzman and his children; Teresa Perez, Jose Guzman, Maria Concepcion Macias, Angelica Guzman, Pedro, Francisca and Albert Guzman. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings; Inez AviA�a, Guadalupe Guzman and his grandchildren; Nestor Guzman, Edith Guzman, Marco Moreno, Juan Carlos Perez, Micaela Guzman, Andres Hernandez, Alejandro Macias, Veronica Perez and Nicholas Guzman and his great grandchildren; Isabella and Noel Rodriguez.
Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 5-9 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 ay 10 AM at Valley Catholic Church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
