Jose Limon

On Sunday, February 28, 2016, Jose "Joey" Limon Jr passed away surrounded by his family at Natividad Hospital in Salinas. He was 60.
Jose's life was devoted to his family and their happiness. He enjoyed western movies and was an avid fan of the Golden State Warriors. Jose cherished family gatherings and took great joy caring for his grandchildren, nieces and nephews who meant the absolute world to him. To a loving Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend you will be forever missed and forever loved.
Jose was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julie Hope Limon and parents; Jose Limon Sr., and Guadalupe Limon. He was also preceded in death by his siblings; Philomena, Jesus Joe Rodriguez, Anthony and Michael Limon.
He is survived by his children; Joseph Scott, Mary Ellen, Isabel, Isaac all of Watsonville, Michele Gonzalez of Los Banos and Daniela of San Jose. Jose is also lovingly remembered by his siblings; Manuela Razo (Ralph), Ventura (Bobbie), Patricia Martinez (Richard), Mary Ellen Galvan all of Watsonville, Jesse (Rose Marie) of Castroville, Rosemary White (Charles) of Hollister and Abigail Salazar (Richard) of Iowa, his grandchildren; Noah, Silas of Santa Cruz, Abraham, Joshua, Jeremiah Limon of Watsonville, Jacob, Julie and Julien Gonzalez of Los Banos, Eboni, Eneida, Gustavo Lopez III and Armando Saldana Jr of San Jose and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation services will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 5-9 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 10 AM at Assumption Church with a Final Blessing Ceremony to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Rd., Watsonville.
