Jose Ruben Vargas Hernandez

On Monday, July 17, 2023,  Jose Ruben Vargas Hernandez peacefully passed away surrounded by his family. He was 80.

Jose was born in Coeneo Michoacan, Mexico. He was a master mechanic and enjoyed spending time farming his land.  Jose was an avid boxing fan and enjoyed watching the fights with his nephew (Jesus Torres) and friends.  Jose will be truly missed and cherished by all that knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria S. Vargas and his children, Leticia Vargas, Juana Vargas, Susana (Alfonso) Galvan and Ruben (Luz) Vargas Jr. Mr. Vargas is also survived by his siblings; Raul Vargas of Watsonville and Celerina Torres of Michoacan Mexico and his 6 grandchildren (Aaron Galvan, Nadyne Vargas, Poncho Galvan,  Ruben Vargas III, Tommy Galvan, Katelyn Vargas, and Isaak Vargas).

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Amando Vargas and Genoveva Hernandez and his siblings, Felipa Tapia, Melania Pineda, Rodolfo Vargas, Josephina Vargas.
