Jose Valentin Caballero

Jose Fernando Valentin Caballero passed away suddenly in Minnesota on May 31, 2019 at 15 years of age.

He was a native of Watsonville. He was born on March 12, 2004. Mr. Jose Fernando Valentin Caballero was an avid soccer fan. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed counseling his peers into staying on a productive path. Jose was a very cheerful person, very upbeat. He loved to listen to music especially ‘Regeton” and all Mixteca music.

He is survived by his parents Luciana Caballero Marin and Isidro Valentin Basurto and siblings Reyna Valentin Caballero, Agustina Valentin Caballero, Lilia Valentin Caballero, Virginia Valentin Caballero, Felipe Angel Caballero, Jose Manuel Valentin Caballero.

A visitation will be held on Thursday June 27, 2019 at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Assumption Church followed by burial at Valley Public Cemetery.
