Josefina Garcia peacefully passed away on October 8, 2020. She was 62 years old. She was born on March 14, 1958, in Las Bocas Zacatecas, Mexico. She moved to the United States where she lived for 46 years.
Mrs. Garcia worked for S. Martinelli and Co. for 15 years as an apple trim line worker. Her kids meant everything to her, she was a loveable, happy, but protective mother. She was always there for everyone who needed her, including her grandkids and other members of her family. Mrs. Garcia loved to garden and crochet; she would often give her finished crochet pieces to others as gifts. She will always be remembered for her generous soul, and also her cooking.
She was preceded in death by her father Cornelio Suarez and her brother Jose Valentine.
She is survived by her dear husband Anarbol Garcia of 44 years, her mother Guadalupe Vega, and her three children, Lorena (Luis) Garcia Martinez, Alfredo Garcia, and Alberto Garcia. She is also survived by her 8 siblings, Anita, Olga, Elena, Trinidad, Juanita, Blanca Estela, Manuel, and Corenlio; her five grandchildren; and numerous nieces nephews and godchildren.
A visitation in honor of Mrs. Garcia will be held on Sunday, October 18, at 5:00PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, Watsonville. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, October 19 at 10:00AM at Assumption Church, Pajaro with a the burial service to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
