Joseph Luis Valencia

Joseph Luis Valencia was born in Watsonville, CA October 30, 1949 and moved up to heaven on June 9th at 12:21 am in his daughter and granddaughter's arms. He left us quietly and peacefully. Joseph was loved by many. Always laughing and enjoying conversations with friends, loved 60’s rock and Motown sound.  Joseph also loved animals. For the past 12 years his companion Chiquita was by his side. Joseph worked at Lucky for more than 30 years as well as an Officer with Seaside Police Dept. over 10 years. Joseph was a hard worker,  beloved father, son, brother and grandfather. He is survived by his  5 sisters, Ernistine Bergo, Angela Upson, Susan Valencia, Carmen Ramirez and Victoria Haisch along with his 3 daughters, Yvonne Valencia, Nicole Valencia and his youngest daughter Gina Valencia. He has 8 grandchildren he will miss. Anthony Rios, Andy Rios, Jonathan Cardenas, Alicia Cardenas, Joseph Nelson, Danny Balajadia, Santiago Yniquez and Arianna Paras. He will also be missed by his 9 great grandchildren.

Dad, thank you for the time we had with you. You are an angel watching over us now. Be at peace. I love you !
