Leonardo Solorzano

Leonardo Solorzano passed away on May 1st in Watsonville. He was 83.
Leonardo was born on January 9th 1935 in Mexico to his proud parents Proto and Aldegunda Solorzano. He was family oriented man. He enjoyed reading and scratching lottery tickets whenever he had the chance. He was a sports enthusiast that loved watching soccer and baseball; he was an avid Dodgers fan. Mr. Solorzano was a resident of Watsonville.
He was survived by his wife Micaela Solorzano; his children, Jesus, Gilberto, Leonardo, Isela, Miguel and Leobardo; and 16 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday May 6th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel in Watsonville with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 7th at Valley Catholic Church in Watsonville at 10:00 AM with the burial directly following at Valley Public Cemetery in Watsonville.
