Louise Shebanek

Louise Marie Shebanek passed away peacefully and went home to be with Jesus Christ February 25, 2022. She was 96 years old.

Louise was born on August 21, 1925 and spent the first half of her life living in Southern California. She worked for the Department of Water and Power for the City of Los Angeles where she met the love of her life. She married Lawrence Shebanek in 1970 and they eventually found their way to Watsonville.

Louise had a servant’s heart, and always looked for ways she could help others. She taught English locally and volunteered at the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department for many years. She was a faithful member of Corralitos Community Church, was involved and committed to supporting several ministries.

Louise leaves behind many friends and acquaintances, and a few who were considered her “chosen” family. At her request, there will be no services. If you would like to honor her memory, please send donations to H20 Fund at Corralitos Community Church.
