Lydia Lerma

On Saturday, March 16, 2024, Lydia Lerma peacefully passed away at her home in Watsonville, surrounded by her family. She was 88.

 Lydia was a woman of many wonderful traits. She was a Teamster, member of the YMCA, a Pink Lady and a professional babysitter. She loved to volunteer and was an active member of her community. She will be missed and cherished by all that knew her.

 Lydia is survived by her beloved husband, Santos Lerma Sr of 72 years, her 3 children, Santos Jr. (Debbie Lerma), Paul (Cindy Lerma) and Diane (Dave Delucchi), sister Alice, as well as 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Lydia is preceded in death by 7 siblings and 1 grandson. 

 Visitation services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 9:00-10:30 AM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel.  Services will begin at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
