On Monday, April 6, 2015, a long-time resident of Watsonville, Maclovia Moran peacefully passed away surrounded by her family. She was 72.
Maclovia was born on February 2, 1943 in Jalisco Mexico to her proud parents Jesus Vasquez and Maria Magdaleno.
Maclovia's life was devoted to her family and their happiness. She enjoyed spending time with her 19 grandchildren, knitting, volunteering at church, camping, cooking and watching her beloved novellas. To a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend you will be forever missed and always cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Maria Magdaleno, Jesus Vasquez and her siblings; Rita Vasquez and Isidro Vasquez.
Maclovia is survived by her beloved husband, Pablo Moran and children; Martina (Vicente) Solbes-Moran, Refugio (Kym Hall) Moran, Maria (Tony Burtman) Moran, Lisa (Earl Boyd Jr.) Moran, Raquel (Bob) Rigor, Pablo Jr. (Veronica) Moran, Juan Carlos (Angie) Moran, Jerry (Sandra) Moran and Teddy (Araleah) Solbes . She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters; Cuca, Antonia and Micaela Vasquez, her 17 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation services are held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 5:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
