Maria Alaniz

Maria Garza Alaniz, born on November 20, 1923 passed away on January 13, 2017.
Maria was born in Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua Mexico. She migrated to the States to support her family. She worked for Goodwill and Mission Linens in Santa Cruz. She was a strong woman of faith and we are going to miss her dearly. She honored God's will by faithfulness until death, and she will receive the crown of life.
She leaves behind 3 children; Ernestina of Watsonville, Pedro (Araceli) of Texas, Josie (Efrain) of Oklahoma. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 6-9 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 10 AM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel with a burial to follow at Pioneer Cemetery.
