Maricela Gutierrez Romero

On Monday, April 9, 2018 Maricela Margarita Gutierrez Romero unexpectedly passed away in Watsonville. She was 33.
She was born on October 29, 1984 in El Salvador.
Maricela loved Karaoke, dancing and making jewelry. She had a heart transplant and completed the medical assisting program at Cabrillo College. She also participated in many different "Donate for Life" Events. Maricela will be forever missed and cherished by all that knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Mauricio Calderon and son, David. Maricela is also survived by her siblings; Maria, Kenia and Flor de Maria and mother, Maria Gladys Pineda.
Visitation services will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 5-9 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 1 PM at Saint Patrick's Church with a final blessing ceremony at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Rd., Watsonville.
