Marilyn Farrar

Marilyn S. Farrar, formally of Watsonville, CA, passed away on November 18. She lived in Watsonville most of her 85 years; only moving to Weldon, CA in May of this year. She is the daughter of Cecil and Ida Farrar and is preceded in death by her both her parents and her brother Cecil Ray Farrar. Marilyn is survived by her Sister-in-law Dorthey M. Farrar of Carlsbad, CA, nephews, Mark E. Farrar of Carlsbad, CA and Brian J. Farrar of Weldon, CA and her niece Rhonda Farrar-Valverde of Norco, CA. Marilyn graduated from Hartnell Collage studying cosmetology and passed her State licensing as a beauty operator. She worked in Soquel and eventually purchased a business in Watsonville which she ran until fully retiring in January of 2019. A viewing will he held on Monday, November 30th at 5:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, Watsonville with a private burial on Tuesday, December 1st. Donations in leu of flowers may be made to First Baptist Church of Watsonville, Youth Ministries. Marilyn was a member of FBC for most of her life.
