Today we celebrate our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Marion Alice Silver. Marion was born on April 27, 1949 to her mother, Marion I. Polie and father, Douglas G. Silver in Walnut Creek, CA. Marion “Mimi” as her siblings fondly called her grew up in Concord, CA. Mimi was the 3rd child in her family of 5 children. Mimi and her siblings were extremely close in age and therefore did everything together.
Mimi moved to Ben Lomond, Ca in 2014 and has enjoyed living in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains with her brother Milt and his wife for the past 10 years.
Today we remember our Mimi and her beautiful smile, her wicked sense of humor and her quick “one liners”. Mimi’s passion for reading and her love for cooking Tamales. May you think of Mimi, as you watch a holiday movie on the Hallmark channel this year and ever year, as she loved her Hallmark channel movies!
Mimi loved her family dearly. While she didn’t have children of her own, she dearly cherished her nieces and nephews, Rick Silver, Bree Silver, Sean Iverson, Ron O’Dell, Amber Gagnier, and Jose Silver.
Mimi will forever be in our hearts as we joyfully remember our cherished memories of her.
Mimi is survived by her brother Milt and Sara Silver and their son Rick Silver. Sister Charlene Iverson and her son, Sean Iverson. Brother Ken and Punky Silver and their children Ron O’Dell, Amber Gagnier, and Jose Silver. Sister Diane Silver and her daughter Bree Silver.
