Martina Rangel Flores

Our beloved mother, grandma and great-grandmother Martina Rangel Flores peacefully passed away Thursday May 9th at Dominican Hospital. She was 67 years old. A native of Mexico, Mrs. Rangel lived in Watsonville for over 15 years were she had a prosperous life.
Mrs. Rangel is survived by her 8 daughters, Sofia Cervantes, Martha Ornelas, Maria Ornelas, Cecilia Ornelas, Teresa Ornelas, Imelda Ornelas, Susana and Victoria Ornelas, four sons Jose Angel Ornelas, Ignacio Ornelas, Jesus Ornelas and Juan Carlos Ornelas. Three bothers David and Jesus Rangel and Francisco Gutierrez all from Mexicali Baja California Mexico, 49 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited Thursday at 7pm at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in Mexicali Baja California Mexico along side her long time partner and husband Ignacio Ornelas who passed away April 2005. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5pm to 9pm at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville, CA 95076.
