Marilyn Dina Valentine

Marilyn Dina Valentine, 76,  was born on August 26,1946.  She peacefully passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2023.

A long time resident of Watsonville, Marilyn was a woman of many wonderful traits. She graduated from Mora High School and received her degree in Interior Design from the Design Institute of Santa Cruz. Marilyn had a remarkable talent for decorating and was an incredible cook and baker.  She loved gardening, and was extremely passionate about her favorite sports teams. Marilyn was fondly known by many as "Auntie M". She will be greatly missed and cherished by all that knew her.

Marilyn is survived by her beloved husband, James Valentine, and her daughter and son-in-law Stefanie and Timmy James. Marilyn also leaves her brother Donald Chapin Jr and his wife Barbara, her sisters Carol Howard, Sharon Chapin, and Janet (Vern) Snodderly.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Grace Chapin Sr.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel with burial services to follow at Watsonville Catholic Cemetery.
