Michael McGinnis

Michael Howard McGinnis, 55, of Royal Oaks, California, passed away unexpectedly Thursday July 11,2013. He was born June 12, 1958 to Howard and Bonnie McGinnis. He was the oldest of 5 siblings.
He is survived by his life partner of 30 years Judy Vargas, His Daughter and Son in-law; Rosalie and Steven Thayer, Son and Daughter in-law; Danniel and Sam McGinnis, Sisters; Nancy and Duane Camperud, Brenda and Larry Cawaling, Sandi and Mark Garcia and Jill Madden, Mother; Bonnie McGinnis, Father and Step-mother; Howard and Polly McGinnis, and 7 nieces and nephews and one great niece.
Michael was a farm mechanic on his families ranch all of his life. He was an avid collector of Ham radios, CB radios, and Radio tubes. He loved to crack jokes, read encyclopedias and play the guitar. He had a great love for his family and making people laugh.
A service will be held in his honor on Sunday August 4, 2013 at 11 am at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel
