Nona Williams

Nona E. Williams, age 96 of Watsonville, entered into eternal rest May 29, 2013.
Nona was born August 21, 1916 in West Texas to John and Mary Comer. She grew up on a ranch and rode to school on horseback. She moved to California in the early 40's and worked in food service as a waitress and later worked in the dry cleaning business. She then worked at Jody's Ladies
Shop in Watsonville for 9 years until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford. She is survived by a step-son Perry Williams, step-grandchildren Perry Williams Jr. and Charity Kitchens, 6 step-great grandchildren, 2 step-great great grandchildren and leaves behind other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Church of Christ, 198 Holm Rd., Watsonville.
Private interment was in Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, Watsonville.
