Paul Aaron Lopez, born and raised in Watsonville, CA, passed on June 15, 2022 at the age of 42 after battling numerous years of his illness. He was born on November 2, 1979 to Luie and Mary Lopez. He accepted his fate and was courageous in his battles to the very end where he found peace and was strong in his faith from our loving God who set him free.
Throughout the years he’s worked for Miyuki’s, Valley Heights, Couch Distributing, Fed Ex and Del Mar Foods. Paul loved listening to oldies, fishing, barbecuing and spending quality time with his family. He was such an outgoing person with an amazing soul and a heart of gold. Giving to others less fortunate was a trademark that Paul is well known for. He would pass along water, money, clothes and even at times a beer or two. He would go out of his way and try to find homeless people to give them a plate of food especially during the holidays. Most recently he was planning to take a large bag of clothing to the levy to those in need. Socializing with everyone is something that came naturally for him and it was always from the heart. Many times he would see girls out in town and yell out, “Hey beautiful!”, and they would smile.
Paul is survived by his parents, Luie and Mary (Montalvo) Lopez; brother, Louie Lopez; daughter, Anisa Lopez; sons, Paul Jr, Nathan, Jacob, Noah and Silas Lopez; nieces, Suzette and Leighana Lopez; as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Catalina Montalvo; Uncle Ruben Montalvo; and Aunt Gloria Soto.
