Rafaela Lovato

On Tuesday, October 20, 2015 Rafaela Lovato peacefully passed away surrounded by her family in Watsonville. She was 101.
Rafaela was born on April 22, 1914 in Texas to her parents; Felix and Christina Espinoza.
Rafaela was a woman of many wonderful traits. She enjoyed knitting, cleaning the house and cooking making tamales for her family and friends. Rafaela loved animals especially, birds and dogs and truly treasured spending time with her family and grandchildren. Rafaela Lovato was a special woman that will be forever missed and forever loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan Lovato and her parents; Felix Espinoza and Cristina Garza.
Rafaela was survived by her sons; Roy Tovar and Ramiro Tovar and her siblings; Lidia, Micaela, Porfiria, Santiago, Chon and Gollo. She was also lovingly remembered by her 15 grandchildren.
Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5-9 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. The following services will be announced during the visitation on Wednesday.
