Rafaela Melchor

On Monday, November 16, 2015, Rafaela Melchor peacefully passed away surrounded by her family in Santa Cruz. She was 72.
Rafaela was born on October 24, 1943 in Cofradia de Duendes, Tecolotlan Mexico to her proud parents; Elias Cosio and Ramona Espinoza.
Rafaela's life was devoted to her family and their happiness. She cherished being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She also loved to go to casinos, play the lottery and enjoyed listening to music. To a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend you will be forever missed and always loved.
Rafaela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guillermo Melchor and parents. Elias Cosio and Ramona Espinoza.
She is survived by her children; Catalina, Ofelia, Martha, Paz, Dolores, Josefina and Fernando. Rafaela is also lovingly remembered by her 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and numerous other family members.
Visitation services will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 10 AM with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
