Rena Kusanovich

Rena Marie Kusanovich entered into rest of natural causes, June 6, 2013. She was born June 22, 1919 to Croatian immigrants, Antone and Anna Perlenda in Butte, MT. She spent her childhood in Oakland, CA . Then at the age of 15 moved to Watsonville where she resided for 79 years.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her devotion to her family was everlasting and cherished.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years John Kusanovich Sr., her sisters Catherine "Kay" Capitanich of Watsonville and Lucille Jensen of UT. She is survived by her daughter Marlo (Ron) Clements of Ben Lomond, her son John (Sylvia) Kusanovich Jr. of Aptos, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Tuesday, June 11 at Ave Maria Memorial Cha[el, 609 Main St., Watsonville. A private family service and burial will be June 13th at Valley Catholic Church and Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to VNA, Hospice of Santa Cruz or the charity of choice.
