Rosalie K. Posada
Also known as "Sissy" to her family members, died quietly in her sleep while being a resident of Valley Convalescent Hospital, on August 27, 2013. She was 70.
Ms. Posada was born on June 13, 1943 in Berkeley, CA. She was a resident of the Watsonville area for more than 30 years and was retired from the computer industry as an assembler. Ms. Posada always strived to have her computer inspections pass with perfection. Over the years she achieved many awards of merit for her great accomplishments. She was always well known to make easy friendships and always known to be a team player with all her co-workers. She will be deeply missed, especially by her favorite companion "Cesar".
She was preceded in death by her father Manuel Posada and mother Jeannie Lopez Posada. She is survived by her son Paul Bastardo, daughter Corina Bastardo, sister Barbara Posado , aunt and grandchildren.
Special thanks to Doctor Christopher O'Grady for the special care and all the home visits that made it so much easier during the difficult times. To her neighbors who became close family in her times of need - thank you for being so caring. To Valley Convalescent Hospital and staff who always made it feel so comfortable when times were tough. To Heartland Hospice for the acute care when times were difficult at home.
At Rosalie's request, no funeral services will be held.
Arrangements are being handled by Patrick and Debra Molina Carroll of Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, Watsonville.
