Ruth Gomez

Ruth B. Gomez died peacefully in her home Thursday January 1st 2015 at the age of 101.
Ms. Gomez did many different things in her lovely life from being a laborer, a homemaker and even a private cook. Ruth was very crafty and could make or sew just about anything; quilts were one of her specialties, she also loved to be outside in her garden which had a beautiful assortment of roses.
Ruth was often surrounded by her family and loved to spend as mich time with them as she could, always making sure that everyone was taken care of and making food for all to enjoy.
Ruth is survived by her children Mercy Yliz, Librada Najera, Monica Rakes, Dolores Savareese, David Gomez, Eleanor Becerril, Roy (Rosemary) Gomez, her 20 grandchildren and countless great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; she is preceded in death by her Daughter Lupe Granados.
A Rosary will be held on January 7th at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel from 3-9 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on January 8th at Valley Catholic Church with Mass starting at 10 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Queen Of Heaven Cemetery in Prundale.
