Sally Sotomayor

On Thursday, March 12, 2015, Sally Sotomayor peacefully passed away in Watsonville. She was 95.

Sally spent 40 plus years in the canning and packing industry while raising her 3 boys. In her spare time, she enjoyed many things, but truly cherished spending time with her family and dancing. To a loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend you will always be missed and never forgotten.

Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raul Sotomayor and parents Bernando and Soledad Tapiz.
She was survived by her children; Ray, William "Hank" Hermosillo and Michael "Eddie" Sotomayor. Sally is also lovingly remembered her two sisters; Mary Rubio, Pilar Gil, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 3:00-9:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Watsonville Catholic Cemetery.
