Sharon J. Martin

Sharon J. Martin, 76, of Watsonville, California, passed away unexpectedly, at her home on the morning of December 12, 2022.

Sharon was born on January 15, 1946 and was the daughter of the late William Newman and Alice Ellis, and sister of Sharlene Puckett.

She enjoyed marriage with Daniel Martin for 53 years and will now be joining him with our Lord in heaven.

She leaves behind her daughter Alicia, sons Steven and David and daughters in law LuAnn and Christy. She greatly loved her six grandchildren: Caleb, Sierra, Theresa, Grace, Ben, and Jacob.

Sharon worked as an instructional aide for Pajaro Valley Unified School District for over 37 years. She loved spending time with her family and was never seen without a smile on her face. She loved cooking and baking and sharing meals with everyone. No one left hungry from Sharon’s table. She cared for others deeply and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Watsonville and participated with close friend in a Bible Study for several decades.

She will be greatly missed by all.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. A memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held on January 14, 2022 at 1:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Watsonville.
