Silvia Ibarra

Silvia Ibarra died suddenly on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014. She was 58.
Ms. Ibarra was born in Agua Calientes, MX on April 17, 1955. She had been a resident of the Watsonville community for over 40 years. She worked at UCSC for many years. She loved Avon, crocheting, embroidery and spending time with her grandson. She also enjoyed family gatherings and loved her family very much.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jesus Salas Ortiz, and sisters, Marcela Salas and Ma. de los Angeles Salas. Survivors include her loving
partner Adolfo Jimenez; her mother, Josefina Ibarra Valencia; a daughter, Marcela Salas Ibarra; one grandson; a brother in MX, Manuel Salas; sisters in MX, Rosa Salas and Gabriela Salas; a brother in Watsonville, Juan Salas; a sister in Watsonville, Lourdes Salas; and numerous nephews and nieces.
The vigil will be on Monday, March 3, at 7 p.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patricks' Church, Watsonville.
